| L. H. | HALLWAY

BALSALL COMMON, UK

What a delightful challenge this hallway was! The client had a couple of drawings from different architects but was not quite sure about either. He wanted something unique with a “wow” factor.

The entrance was dark, and the second floor connecting the two parts of the house was built in a way that covered thee arch of the front door.

With this being a listed building we could not use big windows size to improve natural light, so we decided to create a bright, modern design with plenty of glass to unlock the available light. The key to this was the glass bridge and glass-balustrated single of stairs. The aluminium skirting board with LED lighting unities the elements of this striking contemporary design.
